1. MD is just one of a three East Coast gov seats we can nab. |
|
We can get it along with NY and MA fairly easily it seems. The Republicans in these states are polling very poorly.

I tend to doubt the gap is that large.

3. Which gap do you doubt? |
|
The gap between Ehrlich and O'Malley, or the gap between O'Malley and Duncan?

the same polling company(?) did the Steele/Mfume/Cardin polls, which showed Steele doing better than Ehrlich. I would think the Steele questions were asked during the same poll as the O'malley/ehrlich/Duncan questions . . .

6. Personally, I think both polls are off. |

They is no denying the Sun's bias. They despise Ehrlich. They are actually in the process of suing Ehrlich.
Ehrlichs approval is at 45%. The chances of him polling below 40% in head to head matchups is pretty slim.
I put much more confidence in the Gonzales Research pull conducted a couple weeks ago.

9. Do you think Steele can sustain his numers or even improve... |
|
by simply using his looks and charisma? Or will he take a huge hit once issues become more important?

Steele has a lot of room to grow. He has higher name id than the others and people don't know his record. I think we'll end up winning the Senate race by a larger margin than the governor's race.

12. The Sun contracted it out |
|
Potomac Inc. is a good operation and its results would not reflect the Sun's own issues with Bobby E.
I was surprised by these results -- and the Mfume - Cardin results -- but I don't think the Ehrlich - Sun feud has anything to do with it.
