Michael Steele looks like Dr. Phil McGraw
I just saw a commercial about how he'd "talk straight about what's wrong in both parties". It's the first time I'd ever seen him. He has a physical resemblance (the hairline, the mustache, the body shape), but the way he stood in the commercial, the editing -- it really looked like a promo for a talk show (specifically Dr. Phil).

I wonder if that was intentional?

(fortunately, Cardin's ads are much better. I haven't seem a Mfume ad)

1. Was trying to hide the fact
that he was black? Or a Republican? :D

2. he does look like a black Dr. Phil
(which is kind of funny since Dr. Phil is one of the whitest white guys ever), but he does seem to be trying to hide that he's republican, like with that hamfisted attempt to get credit for criticizing bush without taking the responsibility for doing so.
