2. I just got this in email
Dear Sasha,

Due to voter difficulties in today's election, polls in Montgomery County and Baltimore City (please note, not Baltimore County) will be open an hour later than scheduled, until 9 p.m. tonight.

If you or someone you know hasn't voted yet in today's Democratic primary election, you will be able to vote using a voting machine if you are in line by 8 p.m. If you arrive after 8 p.m., you will be permitted to vote using a provisional paper ballot.

Remember, if you're in line when the polls close, you do not have to leave until you have voted.

Thank you,

--The Democratic Party

3. Just got this link
with updated info about the time changes .

http://www.elections.state.md.us/index.html

They will also be posting election results.

I called this morning to find out the procedure.
They said the homepage will be devoted to the results as soon as they become available.

My cousin Stu Simms is running for Attorney General of Maryland.

My Mom, 88 years old, is asking me every 10 minutes, " Did the polls close yet?"
She adores Stu, like we all do and the waiting is "hard work" as the Chimp says. :)
