I was listening to WBAL today (Im a political junkie folks, Ill take anything I can get).... Anyway, Ron Smith and Flip (Democrat) were discussing some type of tension between Wynn and O'Malley.
The discussion was primarly focused on Julius Henson and Al Wynnn and how they are apparently holding back their African American GOTV machine. It sounded like Henson wanted more money (I think they said $50,000). Further, they were saying that Wynn's next move would be to take his operation over to Ehrlich.

better be careful. He came close to being defeated this year. If he does anything to hurt Democrats, he could be gone next time around.

2. How powerful is this Henson guy? |
|
Ive read a couple articles on the guy and it seems like he can get out the African American vote.
I believe they said Henson and Wynn held out on KKT and it could be the reason she lost. Any truth to this?
If I were O'Malley I would just fork over the money. Anything to increase voter turnout.

is just a corrupt political consultant. He's Wynn's hired gun. He's been involved in Baltimore City races before. O'Malley trounced his guy when he was first elected Mayor.
