As many of you know there is a planning process to improve the Rockville Pike Corridor between Rockville and Twinbrook Metro Stations.
The short version is that the entire section will become on the whole denser and the traffic problems will be reduced (at least for now). However, as much interest as there is in Light Rail and improved mass transit, its not going to happen because the density isn't there yet. I am pretty excited about the changes.
On Monday June 2 between 5-8 PM at 718 Rockville pike is the last opportunity to in a relatively informal setting look at the plans, ask questions and provide comments.
On Tuesday June3rd 7-9pm there will be a meeting on the results and feedback is requested. It will be at Richard Montgomery High School.
If you live/work/shop in and around Rockville Pike, I hope you can make it also.
