Oh my dog, I saw a "Bring Back Ehrlich" sticker this evening. |
|
It was on a car in the parking lot at Leisure World Plaza (Montgomery County). I'm guessing the owner is a Raygun zombie.

1. Will these imbeciles ever get a LIFE? |
|
If, God forbid, Ehrlich became governor again, I could see him shafting Marylanders on whatever pitiful benefits of health "reform" we might hope to get.

|
there was a super-stretch limo out front. I wonder which rockstah shops at Leisure World??

Will look for bumper stickers, and kick their tires!

5. I go there every 3 - 4 days or so |
|
Never saw anything like that.
That Giant is pretty nice, but the Super Giant at Aspen Hill seems larger and busier. But I can see why a Giant Food aficionado driving a stretch limo would go to Leisure World. The Aspen Hill parking lot is like a bumper car course on a good day.

Too bad Starbucks there has closed!
The 2 stores cater to different demographics, so I choose one or the other depending on what I'm looking for (if I'm in SS; I live in Hagerstown, and visit a friend in Aspen Hill frequently.) SO, if I want Matzoh or my 'special' chutney, I go to Leisure World. AND there is a Starbucks 'bar' inside the Aspen Hill Giant.

7. Hi, elleng! I'm not into coffee so much anymore |
|
but I do appreciate different things at the two places also. Leisure World Shopping Center has that Honeybaked Ham store - comes in handy if for instance I only want to serve one meal for the upcoming snow "event". And the chicken at that place on the corner is pretty good too. Aspen Hill has the Gamestop, Chipotle, McDonald's and Panera's, all of which my kids frequent. But they're both pretty close, so really it's six of one, half-dozen of the other.:-)

8. Hi, kimi! I'm in Aspen Hill now, for a few days. |
|
I've wondered about the chicken at that place on the corner. If you say its worth trying, I may do so. Thanks
:hi:

9. I haven't checked in to the Maryland forum in a few days. Yes, that Aspen Hill |
|
parking lot is *always* a zoo! I like the Leisure World Giant for the Kosher food selection, plus they carry refrigerated soy milk in half gallons. The Aspen Hill Giant may, also, but I try to avoid it because of the parking lot. However, there is a branch of my bank in there.
Sometimes I shop at the Safeway in Rock Creek Village, and occasionally the Super Fresh. I think there is another store called Shopper's Food . . . Warehouse ?? I've heard it referred to as Shopper's Food Nightmare, so I don't know if I want to go there!
