it is an awful loss for the whole country and even though we all saw this coming, it is hard to believe he's gone.

Senator Kennedy was in Minneapolis to campaign for Wellstone the day Paul died. I was not there, but I heard from someone who was, that he was very kind and comforting to the workers at Wellstone headquarters that day.

"closed due to a death in the family"
I knew who it was referring to.
