Peace Train to Chicago for rally October 27

Get On Board the Peace Train!

Two (2) Amtrak cars have been reserved for those who want to ride the Peace Train to Chicago for the October 27th (2007) Midwest Regional Peace Rally, part of the United For Peace and Justice (UFPJ) Fall Campaign to End the War In Iraq. This rally will be one of six or seven regional demonstrations on that day.


1. Schedule:

One car will board passengers in Royal Oak on October 27, 2007 at 7:00am *.

A second car will board passengers at Dearborn for the same train at 7:46am *.

* Departure times subject to change. Registered passengers will be provided with departure information, and the Peace Action office will provide departure information, including any changes [phone].

Our train (#351) will arrive at Chicago Union Station at Noon (Central time) where we will join the afternoon activities.

For the return trip our train (#354) will depart from Chicago Union Station at 6:00pm will reach the Dearborn and Royal Oak stations between 12:00 midnight and 1:00am


2. Round Trip Fares:

$55.25 Seniors (55 and over)
32.50 Youngsters (under 15)
65.00 Adults

It is urgent that each network representative contact their respective memberships as efficiently as possible, and that access to any other lists be utilized! We need to spare no effort in saving the lives of Americans and Iraqis.
