Michigan continues its streak against MSU. :woohoo:
It wasn't pretty, but it was a win!

Kudos to Henne; what a warrior. He was hurt but hung in there and pulled it out magnificently.
Go Blue!

2. It was an "escaped with a win" game |

I knew there was hope when MSU took that personal foul penalty for a late hit. That's when I thought Spartan self-destruction might carry the day...

In defense of State, I think this new coach has a future. They staged a comeback, as did Michigan late in the game. State blew a late game lead, repeating what they did last week at Iowa. The program will be a much different animal in the next few years.
Dantonio needs to do a better job of recruiting than John L. did, but I do see some clear differences in coaching ability.
The game I think State should have won was 2005. When Drew Stanton got hurt, everything fell apart. He was so awesome in that game that we would have prevailed, IMHO, had he not been knocked out.
The play of the day was that incredible catch. Chad did not make a perfect throw, but that guy somehow made that miracle grab.

It's amazing how he can twist to make a catch.
I agree about Dantonio; he's the best thing to happen to State in a long time. But they need to cut back on stupid penalties; those were killers for them on Saturday.
