2. It certainly was a great game

with the exception of those four turnovers. But despite those they pulled it out. I think the new coach was impressed with what he's inheriting, although some of them will be gone. I sure hope Manningham and Arrington decide to stay for their final year.

5. CMU, MSU and Uof M all threw down.

Only Michigan came out on top, but all three games were pretty exciting. Like the Tigers, any win by one of our teams in a big event is a good thing.

You all know I am of the green blooded variety, but I must say it was nice to see Lloyd go out with a win. I never disliked Lloyd because of his class off the field, and I also think that the Bo era is over. I must say that the new coach came at a high price. I wouldn't expect too much in the first year or two.

They really did play a hell of a game and deserved to win. It's a credit to Lloyd Carr how his team and staff, all but one of whom are lame duck coaches, performed.
