I just found out I might have to go out of town. Ugh.

1. You have until the 12th to get an absentee ballot

and it has to be turned in by the time the polls close on the 15th.

2. I don't think so but you need to move on it tomorrow. Go to your township/city clerk and fill out

the application for the ballot.

You can also printout the application online here:

http://www.michigan.gov/documents/sos/AV_Ballot_App_Pres_Prim_216579_7.pdf

You still need to mail it or take it to the clerks office.

Make sure you designate which party you are requesting a ballot for.
