P.S. Nancy kicked butt at Berkley and Birmingham/Bloomfield last night -- she was on fire! Quite a few people came up to her at the end of the Birmingham/Bloomfield meeting (where Gary Peters had spoken at the beginning of the meeting and she spoke at the end) and told her she had won them over, that they had been supporting Gary but now thought she was the better candidate. One judge who was in attendance even told her he thought she was as good a speaker as the Governor -- quite a compliment!

And she refused to answer a direct question by the chair of the Oakland County Democratic Party, Dave Woodward in Royal Oak. She answered by saying she's not focused on that now.

I know you required them yesterday, but she doesn't have to answer to you or anyone like you, because she has bigger fish to fry.

When the numbers are made public, you will see them, just like the rest of us mere mortals. You are such a mover and shaker in the local area, I can understand how you think she has to answer to you all the time...NOT!

I suspect her number will be anemic and if she's smart, she'll get the message and drop out and be gracious in throwing her support to Gary Peters.

But I know that won't happen, given her self-centered personality.

So Peters has money. Big effing deal. More corporations supporting him. Oh yeh. Sure makes me feel good about him going into DC and kicking some corporations' butt.

The donations mean little in the primary. What matters is what each of the candidates say and what their supporters do to get support for their candidate.

You drive people away from Peters. Think about it, Fealk. How are you helping Peters when you've got everyone pissed off?

If you choose to be pissed off about the truth, it's your problem, not mine.

You want to ignore my analysis, that's your prerogative, but I think the reason you're pissed off is you know it's the truth. Seems to me Nancy wasn't attacking the party when she had their support. Gary has the credentials to carry the day.

I'm thinking of a little trip to Traverse City to the Grand Traverse Resort for a little R & R and maybe bring my video camera while I'm there and talk to some of the people that worked there during the National Governor's Conference.

Nancy's nose grows every time she makes a public appearance.

Are there any substantive difference between Peters and Skinner or is this a beauty contest?

I know Peters has the support of Michigan labor, arguably the most powerful progressive lobbying organization in America.

I don't know anything about Skinner other than more DFA members in America voted for her Glamour Shot than Peters' - Please enlighten.
