4. His father was a civil rights lawyer |

Fieger may be obnoxious, but he's still a progressive. I'm glad he beat the rap!

5. The ONLY thing Fieger is progressive about is whatever cash fits in his pocket. |

that would have the GOP winning every election fair and square in your eyes. Are you even aware of the charges against Fieger? Or that he was supporting the strongest union leader in the election? Are you aware that Feigers mother was a union leader, or that he and his father won several cases for the union? You should be ashamed to even put that union label on your posts. Get an education on this. This is the intellect of the union we have have now, you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

7. Kiddo, I have an education on Fieger. And I'll stick by my opinion. |
|
And I'll thank you to dismiss from your mind all the other holier than thou sap that you put in your post. Not everything that glitters is gold.

in the union, civil rights causes, and yes even Dr. Kervorkians "right to death", mean nothing? I rest my case. I hear Walter Reuther wore women's clothing too? bet ya I beat you to the punch on that one. I rest my case.

10. Um....maybe you need a little more time here to figure out how to make sense. |
|
So I'm giving it to you. Take all the time you need. Sounds like you're going to need it. Good luck.

Feiger and the other hated "trial lawyers" have made it their life's work to fight for "little" people who have been taken advantage of by big corporations and rich fatcats. I suggest watching the movie "Rainmaker". The case brought against Feiger was a political hit piece. The Bush "Justice" Dept. is bringing charges against prominent Democrats, while refusing to charge Republicans who do the exact same thing. Witness the DeVos family of Amway infamy.

9. I love the ending where the prosecutor says... |
|
“The dozens and hundreds of meat-and-potatoes cases are still being brought and won,” he said. I will finish his statement for him: "it's those derned political prosecutions we have such a tough time winning."

12. Feiger's prosecution was example of Partisan Justice Department |
|
This all goes back to the partisan purge of the Justice Department scandal. The guy who originally charged Feiger is one of the "loyal Bushies" who got to keep their jobs because they would pursue partisan witchhunts.
Feiger may be a jerk (I don't know because I have never met him), but he is a high profile progressive and thus a target for partisan prosecutors looking to make a name for themselves in certain circles.
