| Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council endorse Dillon -- I hope this isn't a harbinger |
|
I sure hope this union isn't a harbinger of things to come. I don't know how I got on Dillon's mailing list, but I unsubscribed myself this morning. ANYONE BUT DILLON!!!!!
Dear Friend:
Everyone agrees that rebuilding Michigan's economy is job one for Michigan's next Governor. And just yesterday the group representing nearly 100,000 Michigan workers agreed that Andy Dillon has the plan and the ability to get that job done.
With the first major labor endorsement of the Democratic primary, the Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council threw their support behind Andy. They stressed his track record on pushing through innovative ideas to grow jobs and working to tear down red tape that slows us down. You can find out more about Andy's plan to improve our economy here.
Even though the campaign was launched just over a week ago, momentum is building fast. Andy's crisscrossing the state to share his vision for a stronger Michigan and gaining support of key leaders and activists. If you would like to join with us, and even endorse, click here.
It will take a lot of hard work to pull Michigan out of this difficult economic transformation, but we know that with your help and the support of 100,000 building and construction workers, we can do it. Together, we'll restore the dream of a better future for our families.
Sincerely,
Andy Dillon for Michigan

| 1. Well, it's just one group |
|
The UAW will probably endorse Bernero and I doubt the public unions will support Dillon. I don't know what Dillon has accomplished in House that makes anyone think he's worthy of becoming governor. I won't vote for him, in the primary or general election.

| 2. I certainly won't vote for him in the primary |

If he got the nomination, I'd have a hard time voting for him, but I would never vote for the Repuke, whoever it is. That means I either vote for Dillon or don't vote for governor at all. Quite a predicament. I'm just hoping Virg wins the primary.

| 3. Then let's get the grassroots behind Virg |

Don't let the Dillon endorsement control the election. I won't vote for governor if Dillon is the nominee.
