This Tiger game brought tears of joy. |

They have been so down. They dropped to only two ahead of Minn. It was looking so bleak that the hitters were fishing for everything they could swing at.
It was raining downtown. The field was soaked. The score was tied 2-2 in the bottoms of the ninth. Carlos went to a full count, then just as the rain fell harder, he hit one out to left center. Goodness, I hope the election goes this way. The hitters were patient tonight, and we can learn from this.
I am just really choked up at the moment. It's about heart people.

2. And he hit it right handed |

They say he's not as good from the right side, but he sure nailed that pitch. That was awesome. The people who satyed through that rain were real fans and they were loud for a smaller crowd. I was on 1-75 last night during the game and it was pouring.

people when they were booing him last week at the game. I have to say I got a little loudmouthed with some of the people who were taking off in the 6th inning. I cannot stand people who buy tickets and don't stay. Guess it's the Milwaukee girl in me, but these are the same folks who claim they are "lifelong" fans. :hi:

When he comes up to bat, I sing a song that goes: "Maggie Oh! Maggie Oh!" and I do a little dance like a hula that's supposed to represent the letter "O".

You'd have a blast with WannaBe. She and BabyG sing songs for each player.
i.e.
Shelton is R-aa-aat Faaa---ce... << sung lovingly of course...
Verlander is Haaarringtooo-on...<<<Because BabyG thinks he looks like Joey... and on and on. :hi:

18. Actually, we learned it from my dad |
|
When we watch the Brady Bunch, he always sings "Oh the Bradys! Oh the Bradys! Whenever you get their dander up, the Bradys lower the boom!" He sang this during the Martian Chronicles, too. I didn't even know Martians had dander!
He sings this to the tune of "Clancy Lowers the Boom!"
He used to invent lyrics to The Big Rock Candy Mountain featuring my sister and me.

I haven't watched a baseball game since Jim Leland left the Bucks. You people are very lucky to have someone like him. If Berry Bonds could have been able to at least get a few hits Leland would have been in a few more World Series. Good luck, I remember Cash, Kaline, and Calavito.
