I still think it's going to be close, like last time. It's going to depend a lot on Detroit getting out the vote. I hope that Detroiters continue to vote in the numbers that they did in 2000, 2002 and 2004.

I hope Prop 2 drives them to the polls in record numbers. That article about Jennifer Gratz in the Free Press yesterday made my stomach turn. She was recruited by some repulsive right wing group, whose name escapes me at the moment, to sue the University of Michigan -- fact that was left out of the article. As a letter writer so aptly pointed out this morning; Gratz had a 25 on the ACT, very average and well below the average score for UM students.
