Right wing talk radio in the Red River Valley

Up north for the holiday weekend I came across (during the Prep Bowl broadcast no less) commericals for the new Fargo/Moorhead/Dilworth (Serves F-M area but tower in Dilworth MN outside of Moorhead) right wing talk radio station, AM 1100 "The Flag".

"The Flag" is the new Rush, Hannity and Scott Hennen station (local talker with a past at KCNN and WDAY between Fargo and Grand Forks).

The commerical clips between Rush, Hannity, Hennen, a couple other hosts, and a few normal looking people (actors?) repeating over and over "I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag". While this is a clever marketing ploy it is naked nationalism of the worst kind. It of course tries to grab the flag for themselves in this new era of Democratic Party governance, but it infers you have to pledge an oath to a talk radio format. :puke: It is really disgusting, it is not on YouTube otherwise I would link to it, but it is really disgusting.

"The Patriot" which pretty much has the same lineup. They even took the Green Bay Packers off for "The Best of Rush Limbaugh"

3. Last weekend's Ring of Fire on AAR

Toward the beginning, they did a montage of sound bites from wingnut radio from around the country.
Not just Limbaugh and Savage but local ones.
Frightening is the only word that comes to mind. Some of the local yokels, particularly one assclown in Denver, makes Savage sound like Mary Poppins.

These sick fucks will always have an audience but the vast majority of this country is worn out from the hatred.
They are seeing through the flag-waving stuff, too.
