Meanwhile, Gov. Tim Pawlenty said today on his weekly radio show that the Supreme Court order to count all of the improperly rejected absentee ballots struck him as odd. The order gives the U.S. Senate campaigns a great deal of power in determining which uncounted absentee ballots get into the recount, and gives campaigns the power to veto ballots.

Pawlenty said the court effectively turned over a person's legal right to vote to political campaigns.

Yes, it was a bizarre 3-2 decision of the MN Supreme Court.

The woman who wrote it was a Jesse Ventura appointee, and she was joined by two Tim Pawlenty appointees.

The two dissenting justices weren't appointed by Pawlenty.
