Why is the Vandalism at Elected Officials' Homes Still an Unsolved Crime?

When City Pages Blotter reported October 22nd 2008 that Norm Coleman’s garage has been vandalized, right-wingers rushed to accuse Democrats (see comments):

... but, in another post, it became clear that other Congress members were victims, including Rep, Bachmann, Rep. Ellison and Senator Klobuchar:

The crime remains unsolved.

It's hard to believe that this became a cold case.

Does anyone have a clue who did this?
