1. He is the king of asswipes. |
|
His smug little smirk up there behind the podium basically saying that it doesn't friggin' matter that a majority of people voted AGAINST him (twice) and that the state swept into office huge DFL majorities in both houses. He's the "decider" and he alone will determine who has to lose the most just so we don't make the rich pay their fair share.
Damn I can't wait to get rid of him.

2. I saw yesterday as part of his 2012 GOP Primary run for President |
|
He has to say and do these things to keep his resume up to date for the highly ideological national Republican Party. He cannot go far with the religious wing, so he needs the economic wing to pull him through. It is not about the state but his personal ambitions, to compromise or to be seen as compromising, would be like GHWB and his "Read My Lips, No New Taxes" pledge. Anything outside party purity is a death sentence to future, higher political ambitions as he would not be pure enough for his party to accept him. :puke:

From the day after Election Day 2008, Timmy's #1 concern was no longer the people of Minnesota (not that it ever really was - at best, his #1 concern was the Taxevaders League) but pandering to the party base for a 2012 run. I am so damn sick of him.

3. Apparently Timmy thinks he was elected Tsar |
|
Of course, not being very bright, he probably doesn't know that things ended very badly for the last Tsar when he ignored the people.

5. "just so we don't make the rich pay their fair share" |

That's pretty much what every economic crisis really boils down to: One group has taken so much of the money that no one else can get along. Instead of giving some of it back, they demand even more and...we give it to them.

8. He forgets that "the deciider" was so a couple years ago |
|
That his W style is antiquated to today's new Obama world of moderation.
