Same argument to pass MN's divest from Iran bill was the same to launch war on Iraq

Senator Marty displayed integrity and intelligence in trying to explain in a rational manner to his Minnesota colleagues why the Iran Divestment Bill proposed by Senator Terri Bonoff would be counterproductive.

What is really unbelievable is how the same neo-con argument--that we are "promoting democracy” in these countries--was used to argue for divestment of Minnesota pension funds from Iran that was used to launch the war on Iraq .
