Bachmann Not Ruling Out Bid For Governor |
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/06/bachmann-not-ruling-out-bid-for-governor.phpOh please let it be so! Do it, Michelle, you know you want to . . . Pawlenty's about to leave on a 2-year listening tour, you'll have the GOP stage all to your little chipmunk self.

1. I still think she will be going for Klobuchar's US Senate seat |
She seems the type that likes the national stage, to go for the governorship would mean she would go back to a local position, making it harder to get national attention. Assuming she gets trounced by Klobuchar, I see her being the GOP's preferred choice to go against Franken in a few years.

3. As long as the media keeps talking about what Bachmann's running for |
They won't be talking about her dismal and embarrassing record. So her ploy is to keep the discussion alive, and it seems to be working.
