Did Coleman get Senate pay for the first seven months of this year?

Did Coleman get Senate pay for the first seven months of this year?

If so, does he now have to pay it back?

And is Al Franken eligible for back pay?

Just wondering.

1. No and no.

Coleman's term ended on December 31, 2008. He had no office after that time, nor was he paid. Al Franken began his term this week. He gets paid from that time. Before that, he was not a Senator.
