Anyone who follows the brutality of Minneapolis cops knows Lt. Mike Sauro as the poster child of thumper cops. Sauro's brutality cost the city over $1 million back in the 90s. Now he's defending the cops who were caught on video last february beating the shit out of some guy after he was down--an incident that sparked an FBI investigation. What I'd like to know is why thumper cops like Sauro remain on the force at all, let alone stay in positions of authority for years after they're found guilt of police brutality.
