I just got a call from someone who attempted to trash Mark Dayton. I don't know who was behind it. No name no number in caller Id.

1. I got the feeling it was from Entenza's camp

they used only glowing terms for describing him and took twice as long to talk about him versus the other candidates.

I don't know all that much about some of the DFL candidates, but he strikes me as the only one who is low enough to pull this shit.

It wouldn't be the Republicans, for now they're content to wait and see if the DFL implodes - and with Entenza in the race, that could happen.

4. It wasn't what they asked so much as

She went into this long spiel about his having gone into treatment and suffering from depression, She made it sound like he was still drinking. then called him a quitter for leaving the senate of course it was couched in does this make you more or less likely to vote for him. I stopped her at that point. I asked if I had told you that I was voting for any other candidate what were the negative points about them I would hear. She said it would still have been the spiel on Mark. I said this is dirty politics and I refused to answer any more questions. I like Mark and I wouldn't hesitate to vote for him.
