Parking restrictions in Minneapolis effective immediately. |
|
Just a quick heads up for my fellow DUers who live-in or may be visiting Minneapolis:
until April 1, 2010, you CANNOT park on the EVEN sides of non-snow emergency routes. You CAN park on the ODD side of the street.
If you are parking on a street that is declared a snow emergency route, you can still park on BOTH SIDES of the street.

1. This is going to be bad stuff for people who live on streets |

with no garages and no alleys. It's already too crowded in residential areas. I predict violence over parking spots shortly.

I already have two neighbors who park for crap to begin with.
They manage to foul up 4 spaces with two cars and they generally do it in front of my house, leaving me no options when I get home at 1 or 2 in the morning.
I can't wait to see what they do to the odd side of the street.
*sigh*

People who take up two parking spaces in crowded lots or on streets.
If you can't get your car into one space, perhaps you shouldn't be driving.
