Is it just me or does Anderson-Kelleher have trouble answering simple questions? |
|
They were just interviewing her on MPR this morning and several times they asked her a very simple question and she went of on a long-winded tangent only marginally related to the question. For example, she was asked about being late to get ads out, but she beats around the bush and goes on and on about the strength of her political operation.
Typical Corporate Dem. :eyes:

1. I didn't hear the interview |
|
but from what you're saying, it sounds like she's been taking lessons from Klobuchar. Amy can never give a straight answer either.
Kelliher needs to lose and lose big in the primary. After 8 years of Pawlenty, she's the last thing this state needs. If it comes down to a choice between her and Emmer in the general, we're screwed.

3. If it comes down to Emmer or Kelliher |

I'm afraid I'll vote for Kelliher - not that it makes me happy but at least she isn't deranged the way Emmer is.
And at least she's suddenly pushing John Marty's single payer plan there is no hope of that becoming law if Emmer is elected.

4. Me, too. I've been kind of *meh* about Kelliher, but |
|
holy crap, she's a hundred million times better than Emmer, who is nuttier than squirrel poop, Sarah Palin in drag, exponentially more awful even than Timmy the Tool. Yeah, I'll vote for Kelliher if the alternative is Emmer. I will be a Yellow Dog Democrat for this election.

7. The Raindog's going with Dayton |
|
I think he's the only one with the fire to take down Emmer. If Entenza miraculously gets the nomination, I'm going with Horner. Better an honest former Republican-turned Independent than a sleazy, lying Democrat.

9. Crazy or sleasy candidates galore |
|
I have a big problem with the candidates for governor -- to me most of them seem mad (Emmer) or pathically sleazy (Kelliher and Entenza). Dayton has some emotional problems but I think he is honest and predictable. He keeps his promises! What breath of fresh air that is.
If Kelliher wins the primary, I probably will not vote for her in November. I think she has serious character issues and I am inclined to think I will vote for a third party candidate rather than vote for Kelliher. As to her promise to support single payer if elected, I simply do not believe her. Kellier snakes out of everything and I am betting she would weasel out of supporting single payer too.

10. And people voting for a third-party candidate is how we got Tim Pawlenty, again. |
|
Mike Hatch wasn't the greatest candidate in 04, but he lost by only 1% because of votes cast for the Independence Party and Green Party candidates. So we got Tim Pawlenty and a collapsing freeway bridge and all kinds of other great stuff instead. But hey, if "Governor Emmer" sounds good to you, go for it.
Kelliher is overweight, so I guess she shouldn't be elected to any public office. :sarcasm:

11. I'm not thrilled with Kelliher but I've never heard anything negative |
|
about her character.
Dayton openly admits he has had problems with depression and takes medication for it. Depression isn't an "emotional problem" it is an illness that, fortunately, can be treated. It is also very common and there aren't very many people who get through life without experiencing it - whether they get treatment for it or not.
