I predict that the upcoming Oct. 26th Bachman/Clark debate being held by the |
|
St. Cloud Chamber Of Commerce will be:
* padded with angry Republican Tea-Partiers screaming at Clark
* stacked with entrapment situations for Clark in order to sway the vote for Bachman
* will be the result of the secret fundraiser just held for her at the Chamber
Will anyone be attending? I cannot go due to family obligations and am concerned that this will not be allowed to be a real debate but rather a "show".

2. I don't think I would participate in a debate |
|
sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, given their financial shenanigans during this election cycle. But Tarryl Clark probably feels she has no choice. Chances to actually debate Bachmann face-to-face are few and far between. She spends most of her time running from the media and any and all scrutiny.

3. I expect you're right. And I predict... |
|
...that Clark will walk right into that lion's den and come out unscathed, and stronger. She's sharp, and poised, and earnest. She won't be trapped or tricked. And if jeering boors were as persuasive as they think they are, then last year's health care bill would never have become law.
