I had taken steps in buying a home before last night... |

but now all bets are off aren't they? The Republicans will make sure the public pays for the insane excesses of business and GOP warring.
Real hope went back underground for another election cycle and we will have to see how to survive and much we can keep from being stolen from us in the next few years and try again. But then the MN GOP will have the state gerrymandered nicely by then.
Thanks for keeping me sane for the last 10 years and pointing me in the right direction when I stumble.
I did cast my vote all DFL except I did not vote for Ramsey County attorney, the face that looked the protesters in the eye and said that the police state going in St Paul during the RNC was perfectly fine. I held my nose and voted Fletcher out, finally. But the replacement is the same ilk.
Keep in touch and be careful out there. MInnesota is a different place than we knew.

1. They want you to think it is a different place. I call foul. I smell it. |

4. It does really seem odd that if Dayton was ahead 12 points in polls a week before election |

2. Hell, I'm thinking about taking steps to sell my place. |

Too bad it's lost most of its value thanks to the housing crash. Hmmm...I wonder what real estate prices are like in Canada these days...might be worth it to take the loss if I can find something in Canada...man, this would be so much easier if I had just been born rich.

3. And with the Republicans running the legislature |

you can bet local property taxes will keep going up because they 'Pukes will refuse to raise income taxes (unless they can figure out how to do that only on the working & middle classes).
