how many times did Pawlenty cut taxes on the very wealth and corporations ? |
|
I need some facts to share with neo cons at work.
In the beginning of his 1st term it seemed like Pawlenty was doing it all the time

3. I couldn't tell you how many times... |

But read up on the Jobz program, it gave major tax exemptions to corporations that set up shop in certain parts of the state. Even Republicans admit that the program did not do much to stimulate the economy, but it sure helped corporations to avoid paying taxes.

Wendy Wilde who used to be on AM 950 a while back often talked about those cuts. I thought it was done by Pawlenty.
I'm sure there is a list on someone's blog. I'll have to try and find it

5. Jesse Ventura & the legislature at the time gave away the rainy day fund |

in the form of tax cuts when times were good. Then we got a no-new-taxes governor (Pawlenty) who made it impossible to roll back any of the cuts when the state started going in the red. Pawlenty did, however, force increases in property taxes.
