4. Dailykos may have jumped the gun here. Seems William & Mary did offer

an LL.M. degree in tax law back in the '80s. I can't imagine a fake degree would have gone unnoticed this long.

It's mainly for foreign lawyers. Bachmann's resume says she has an LL.M. degree from William & Mary in tax law. The school does not currently offer that degree, but they did in the '80s. I think her degree is legit. If it weren't, that fact would have been discovered long ago. That's not to say she isn't a damn fool. But the degree seems to be for real.

It did say she went to get the LL.M but it really doesn't say she did get it or that she has that degree.

They offered a tax law degree at the time she went. Even DU'ers don't understand that Bachmann ia not stupid. She just has the act down. She doesn't act so crazy in front of her own constituents and like most "conservatives" is a porkamster. Big subsidies for corporate farms and big farmers. Lots of highway pork,too.
She has never made a dime except from the government she bashes (Just like Kline). Now she sees the dough Palin made and is trying to get her share. Believe me the ultrarich will be handing out big bags full of hundred dollar bills this time around.
