Spring Has Come to Minnesota - My Sump Pump Told Me.

For the past two days, the sump pump in my basement has run for about 10 seconds, once an hour. That, my Minnesota friends, is a true sign of Spring. Huzzah!

1. My sump hasn't started to trickle yet up here.

No crocus yet, either. But we're almost done with winter hockey and have a couple weeks until spring hockey starts, so spring must be on its way.

2. Yup. And the High School state basketball championship

tournament is going on, so we'll have a blizzard, but the snow will melt quickly.
