He's asking me to support Klobuchar with money. I won't do it.

Klobuchar's people called to ask if I would march with Amy's dad in a parade over the 4th. I said that since Amy didn't support the public option, I wasn't interested in supporting her.

4. She was on Gary Eichten's show yesterday live from the fair |

He did ask her how she responded to criticisms that she doesn't tackle the hard issues. She reeled off a list of mainly constituent services that her office has done saying (paraphrasing a bit as I'm working from memory) "some people think those are little issues, but they're big to the people involved." Ummmmm.. Amykins, all Senators and Reps do that stuff - even the Republicans - you'd be even more pathetic if your office didn't deal with issues like those.
As I was at work my attention span came and went while I was listening, but I did not catch anyone asking her any hard questions. I may have missed something, but I really started to wonder if the audience had been screened or if she had managed to get the audience packed with supporters. Had I not been at work I would probably have spent most the interview yelling at the radio.

Though I expect it will be the one who puts "DFL" after her name. That's assuming, of course, that the electorate has forgiven her for opposing texting while driving - perhaps they have come to admire her courage.

8. Have to consider her base but we know about her. Could be a lot worse. |
