Fat Mama's Tamales in Natchez |
|
If you've never eaten there, you don't know what you're missing, especially their "Knock You Naked" margaritas. It's a nice little landmark-restaurant on Canal St. in Natchez. You must stop and eat there next time you're in the western part of the state.
Tell me about some good, unique eateries around the state. I'm always travelin'. :D

1. There's a great Phonecian restaurant in Ocean Springs |
|
If it's still there. When I visit my parents we go there sometimes. Fantastic soups and hummus. I'm vegetarian, but my parents loved the seafood dishes, too. It's sort of a Greek/Gulf Coast/Cajun fusion thing.

The best fried biloxi bacon (fresh mullet), the coldest beer (ask for the frozen glass) and gumbo that will make you want to come back for more & more. :9
