No, we don't like him, we don't like him at all.
He was interviewed and he said he doesn't pay attention to silly polls, he just has a job to do. Yeah, right, Mr. RNC former chairman doesn't pay attention to the polls.

the elephant babar - only a king in his mind.
Former Reagan press aid, former head of the RNC. He helped the weed with his debate preps and his RNC speech. He is considered in the running for the nomination in 2008.

10. I totally know what you're talking about, but I'm probably the only one |

who does. Fuck Haley Barbour and Amy Tuck and their cheap shot, low class, gutter politics. Won't somebody with a soul run against Haley in '07 and somebody serious needs to run for Lt Gov, in the nightmare scenario that Haley is re-elected.

11. Rumors are Mike Moore or John Grisham. |
|
I believe that he will have a competent opponent. Especially with these ratings at this stage of his first term in office.
37% approval

13. SurveyUSA is a really shitty polling organization....But, I think Barbour |
|
is sinking in the polls and I believe he can be beaten, but we must have decent candidates. Moore or Grisham would be a dream come true. Ex-Sec of State Dick Molphus could do it, maybe even party chairman Wayne Dowdy. Hell, former congressman Ronnie Shows could run!
I really long for even a flicker of a chance that we can rid ourselves of this disgusting dirtbag of a governor.

14. Carpetbagger comes to mind. |
|
He leaves the state to be a slug to the likes of Reagan and the BFEE, returns as "one of our own" after making millions by doing god knows what for who knows who while running his skanky lobbying firm, and now he is piratizing everything while giving his cronies jobs and contracts.
Yet, GOP at is worst.
We will have a decent candidate. We just have to.

15. Rowdyboy, I beg to differ about the poll |
|
FROM: electoral-vote.comUsing this analysis, the best pollster was Rasmussen, who got all 32 states that he predicted right. What is evn more amazing, is that Rasmussen uses a robodial system that is completely automated. A computer announces itself and then says (in effect) "Press 1 for Bush, Press 2 for Kerry." Despite the danger of noncitizens, children, and other nonvoters answering the poll, Rasmussen got every state right. One factor to consider is that most Rasmussen polls were 7 or 14 days, vs. a typical 3 days for the other pollsters. Rasmussen gets an A+
Next in line wereSurvey USAwith 97% right and Mason-Dixon with 96% right. They get an A. American Research Group (92% right) and Zogby (91% right) get an A-. Zogby made some predictions on television that were off, but his polls (as opposed to his personal predictions) were pretty good.
Gallup, once the dean of American pollsters, got only 80% right, a B-. Finally Strategic Vision (R) got only 64% right, for an F. Strategic Vision should not be taken seriously in the future.
