Woman found with son in Arizona is charged with kidnapping

A woman who had no visitation rights with her 9-year-old son was arrested in Phoenix on Monday for allegedly kidnapping the boy in Kansas City in December.

Jaimy D. Snow, 29, had been hiding with her son in a religious compound in Phoenix since January, police said.

Police tracked her to the compound last week. Jackson County prosecutors charged her with kidnapping. She was arrested Monday and remained in an Arizona jail Tuesday, with bond set at $100,000.

The boy's father, Robert Todd, 33, of Merriam was planning Tuesday to travel to Arizona to get his son.

2. I don't know the details, but having the visitation only under the

father's supervison was an invitation to kidnapping. If the mother is not fit to have unsupervised visitation, then the visitation should have been under COURT supervision.

Sounds like a control issue...
