And to all of you who have yet to join us, we have such a great time. Imagine a party where you don't know anyone but as soon as you meet each guest, you feel like you have known them for years. It is truly a great meeting of the minds.

We are going to try to have a picnic in a park in June on a weekend. I will investigate reserving a shelter and let you all know. Oh and polish off your favorite recipes because it will be pot luck. I will spring for the paper goods. No, not rolling papers, paper stuff to eat off of. gotcha!!

It's a saturday and far enough away that people can work around the date, Loose Park sounds good to me.

My nephew is getting married that day.

I could do the 19th.

But if that date works best for everyone else, then go for it.

I have been checking parks. Most now want at least $35 to rent a shelter. They used to be free. KCMO's parks are the highest. Some are $80 for half a day. I will look at Wyandotte County and get back to you.
