Katy Trail Information
Governor Blunt:

Your recent decision to give away the bridge in Boonville, Mo. to the Union Pacific Railroad jeopardizes the entire legal framework that enables the Katy Trail State Park to exist.

We think that's wrong. We believe that if you had exercised leadership and creativity, there were many better options availaible to you.

Therefore, rather than standing by and letting the Katy Trail State Park become embroiled in a legal quagmire, we urge you to take immediate action to reverse your prior decision, and to seek a solution that preserves this Missouri treasure.

Upon research from the Missouri Ethics Commission web-site it turns out that Blunt has recieved several thousand in campaign contributions from Union Pacific. More on this in a few days. Help me get this in the news guys.

1. I was standing 5 feet away from Jay Nixon
today has he announced his lawsuit against MoDNR.
I never thought I would be singing the praises of
someone named Nixon, but Jay seems like the real deal.

Well informed, poised, and committed, Jay Nixon did not so much fire a shot across the bow of this Blunt/Childers fiasco, as pump a torpedo into its rust line.

I have to say that I do not trust the stuff that Childers has claimed over this. This thing seems a payback for Blunt's UPac warchest.
But it also will encourage far more idiotic groups like the simian pooh flinging NARPO, whose paleolithic legal theory would pretty much disclude such modern conveniences as electricity and running water if put into practice.
