Socializing is great, but, we need a working session

Getting together with DU'ers is a great time, but, it's time to put ourselves to work, we need to put together a defining document, something we can get out to the media where we live.
Maybe we should build talking points of our own, since they work so well for our opposition.
Boil down what we would like to see happen, and describe how to get there, easily and simply so that the people who are being swayed by the right, can see the point of view from the left.

So, I propose that our next getogether be a working session, let's bring material and energy and get to work getting rid of these treacherous bastards.

2. Socializing vs. acting

That's kinda what I thought when I first started going to the meetups, that we should put ourselves to work. But now I'm not sure. I've been attending Democracy for America meetups for the "work" stuff (they're getting very organized about that) and I like having the DU meetups for what they've been.

Still, I'm open to change if that's where we want to go as a group.
