I'm suprised that there hasn't been a mass exodus
of the old, disabled, and poor to neighboring states, after all the funding cuts and the rug being pulled out from under us here in misery.
I know people who have lost their medicaid living on very limited resources, their existance was marginal before, but now, now it's going to be a nightmare.
How can they juggle the need for medicine, food, housing, and the basic needs?
Man we may have people dying in the streets before long, somehow I find it very hard to believe that this is what the people wanted lasat November.

We need to work really hard to get democrats back into state government so we can change the constitution and rid ourselves of this bastard.

1. If They Can't Afford medical coverage
They sure can't afford to move, and even if they start to die, do you really think that the "good Christian folk" of Republican persuasion are going to give a rat's ass.

Let's face facts, the people of Missouri who support this governor/murderer, are for the most part, Republican and "Christian".

And there can be no denying that these "good Christian folk" have no
regard for the elderly, disabled, or the poor, that's evidenced by
what is currently happening.

The supposed "Christians" of this country that continue to support this sort of thing as well as the Bush cabal, are nothing more then
intolerant, hateful, bigots, that like to hide behind their religion.

This is a targeted attack against all who claim to be Christian, but whose acts show total disrespect to the teachings of Christ, and who
lack the humanity that my hamster seems to have more of.

2. I work for TMC
and we provide medical care for the poor. Policy change and job cuts are now being implemented. The future which once looked good is now dismal.

5. I lived there
just outside St. Louis until I went on SSI disability in 2000.
I go back a couple of times a year to help out my mom and am always reminded of why I did not stay. This is by no means a put down of the beleaguered blue areas in the state.

6. I know most can't afford to move
There are some that I know if they don't do something fast the axe is going to fall on them hard. They live right across the border from Kansas, it wouldn't cost as much as moving long distance, and if they would let some things slide, utilities and rent it would be possible.
It doesn't cost any more to live across the state line, in fact it may be a little cheaper, that's why I'm suprised that at least here people haven't been on the move yet.

As to why we elected babyface, I don't know, why did the chimp get reinstalled? When I went to bed dejected that November night we were comfortably ahead. That vanished somewhere in the night and there's been a chill wind blowing hard everh since.

8. I can't afford to move.
I'm poor (for the most part but not according to the state of MO). I have a crappy visitation deal for my daughter. I have to get consent from a judge to move out of state. I tried it once and was denied.
They just want us to die here.
