1. Blunt spoke to the teachers in KCMO district today

via videotape. When his face appeared, you could hear hisses and boos from the crowd. Ok, I will admit, I was one of them :)

Also, the superintendent had some very negative things to say about the legislators in Jeff City and the damage they are doing to our schools. He was very critical of charter schools and pending voucher legislation.

5. The district asked him to speak

They showed the teachers a videotape of Blunt and our area legislators wishing the teachers a good school year. The district does this every year.

4. I have this sticker

It's right above my DU sticker and my "These colors don't run the world" sticker is on the other side of my back window. I picked it up at the Boone County Fair. A co-worker also works for Boone County Democrats and says it's the most popular sticker they have.

Usually its a black sticker with white letters, saw it on a few vehicles, usually on the back window.
