Anyone interested in going to DC for the Sept. 24 Rally/March? |

We are taking a Bus for the people that can only go for Sat. and the Van is for people who can stay through Monday.
The Bus and Van will both leave together at noon on Friday, Sept. 23 and arrive in D.C. Saturday morning. The Bus will leave D.C. late Saturday evening and return to Kansas City on Sunday evening. The cost per seat is $130.
The Van will leave D.C. area on Monday late afternoon and return to Kansas City Tuesday afternoon or evening, Sept. 27. For those who want to save money or who love to camp, I have found a campground in Virginia by a lake that is 8 miles from one of the Rail stations to D.C. They have shaded camp sights, flush toilets, hot/cold showers, and sinks. The cost is about $5 per person per night, or $10 per person, total. There is also a nearby Day’s Inn that costs about $80 per night, so If 2 people share a room the cost for both nights will be about $80 each. As people pay for their tickets, I will find out if they want to camp or share a hotel room. then I will share emails for roommate purposes. The van will leave the campground on Sunday and Monday mornings and swing by the hotel to pick up the hotel people on the way to the Rail station. The cost of the van per seat is $130, which includes rental, gasoline, and sandwich stuff and snacks for the trip to and from D.C. Each person will need to bring some cash for the Rail into D.C. (I would approx. $15) and food for lunches and dinners on Sat, Sun, and Mon.
It is going to be awesome!! !:woohoo:

Having just lost my job and all. But my friend gave me money and said he wanted to see me get pepper sprayed on CNN. How can I refuse? So, how do I sign up for the bus or van?

Is the cost for the bus $130 round trip? That's a big improvement over Amtrak.
Is this a chartered bus with a professional driver?
