I met the man once and he seemed like a jackass to me. His votes are strictly in favor of the cartel.

Kit both as nutty and Establishment as they come. Wait a minute, isn't that contradictory? Nope, it's a harmonic convergence, a part of the Republican mainstream is now certifiably nuts.

3. is he the one who was talking yesterday about the #s of soldiers killed & |
|
wounded in iraq, as well as the uncounted #s of innocent iraqi civilians killed?
iF he is the one he was also talking about the need to TRIUMPH (my word but his meaning) in Iraq before pulling out.
Can't understand why TRIUMPH is such an important word in the eyes of many SENATORS... WE NEED TO PULL OUT OF IRAQ. THEY DO NOT WANT US THERE. WE ARE OCCUPYING A FOREIGN COUNTRY. WE CAN LET THEM BE GROWN UPS AND LET THEM TEND TO THEIR OWN BUSINESS.
Truth is the first casualty of war. What is Bond hiding about himself, his character, or his lobbied eyeballs purchased that he is pro-torutre?

4. Anyone who's had to sit through one of Bond's speeches ... |
|
... without resorting to jumping up and screaming at him or at least rolling one's eyes fast enough to induce dizzyness knows that Bond himself is a "torturer."
I'm surprised he hasn't volunteered to go down to Gitmo and make speeches to the prisoners.

6. Does anyone remember this news story on ABC? |
|
That (good) investigative reporter of theirs (can't remember his name, but since they only have one, some of you will know his name) did a story on the influence of lobbyists on the congress.
He tried to get some comments from Senator Bond at one of those lobbyist-paid-for get togethers.
Bond tried to run away, then when the reporter followed him and his wife into an elevator, Bond gave the reporter a body slam up against the side of the elevator, using his William-Shatner-style girth.
THIS WAS ON NATIONAL TV (like ten or fifteen years ago), and that shit is still in office.

You're also a Missourian aren't you? Fellow K.C.er if I recall. It's really something to watch your very own senator act like a sumo wrestler.
BTW, that was Brian Ross whose name I couldn't recall. I think.

The list of 9 Republicans is here: http://www.mydd.com/story/2005/10/5/23830/6221This part of the country is well-represented, with Bond from Missouri and Roberts from Kansas. Jerks.
