Springfield Abortion Provider Closes

It served more than 1500 women a year, now a Springfield abortion clinic has suddenly closed it`s doors.
The Springfield Healthcare Center tells KOLR10 the decision to close was made by five board members and has nothing to do with the current challenge to the new state law.
The clinic had won a restraining order against the law which would have required doctors performing abortions to have hospital privileges within thirty miles of where they were performing abortions.
