Impeach Bush/Cheney rally in KC Saturday 1/7

Saturday, January 7th, at Mill Creek Park (the horse fountain at
47th and Broadway on the Plaza) Kansas City, Missouri, from 2 - 4 PM.

Let's gather together and show strong local support for impeachment of Bush and Cheney. If Alito is confirmed, the local and state levels may be the only arenas WE THE PEOPLE have left. By giving the NSA permission to illegally spy on us, Bush is now openly and brazenly breaking the law and says he intends to keep doing it. He's telling us he's above the law and that he feels no one can wrest his power away. If he felt his power was threatened HE WOULDN'T BE OPENLY BREAKING THE LAW. He's telling us he's DICTATOR. Are we going to let him do it?

Now is the time to stand up in our communities and say "NO". Let's
impeach Bush and Cheney, and start right now!

Cheney outed covert agent Valerie Plame. That's treason. Are we going to let Cheney get away with treason?

Are we going to let these criminals flout the Geneva Convention, and
torture people?

Are we going to let them "fix the facts around the policy" in order to lie us into a preemptive and illegal war?

Do they get to rig the elections in perpetuity like they did in Ohio?

Do they get to set up secret prisons overseas, where people, with no
legal recourse, are swallowed up and disappear?

Every day these criminals blast one more block out of the foundation of this country.
