The Jackson curve
A planned Saturday appearance in Kansas City featuring Sen. Jim Talent and HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson has apparently been postponed.
That's the word from Ken Bacchus, who says he was asked by a fraternity brother in St. Louis to urge African Americans to show up and listen to Talent and Jackson.
Some Claire McCaskill supporters are raising their eyebrows, suggesting Bacchus is helping Jackson only because of the notorious Tracy homes debacle, and a possible federal investigation into Bacchus' role in the deal.
But Bacchus says ("hell, no") that the visit and the case aren't related. He says he hasn't decided if he'll support Talent or McCaskill.
