I wanted to thank DESE for educating parents and teachers about the need to provide "reasonable accommodation" for students with religious disabilities who refuse participation in the state mandated Pledge of Allegiance (that was altered to include religious affirmations per act of the US congress).
http://dese.mo.gov/schoollaw/freqaskques/pledge.htmTogether we will show those polytheists and atheists just what it means to be real Americans!
Thanks,
Seth Jackson
PS I apologize for the passive aggressiveness but as a Missouri parent with legal standing, if I had followed such assertiveness to its best conclusion my children may have been the victims. I won't allow my "religious disability" to have that impact on them.
PSS I am not an atheist or a polytheist but I do believe in the Constitution. Do you?
