Question about my voter registration.... |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-30-08 11:02 PM by Kerry2008
I just moved, and I haven't requested a change in address.
I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I'll still be able to vote in my old polling place...right?
Or should I request a change in address?
I wanted to wait till after the election to do that because I wanted to vote in my old district, and plus my family lives in that district...and we planned on carpooling to the polling place together to vote for Obama :)
I'm a college student, so I've only ever voted twice. So forgive my ignorance of how this works. Just wanted to make sure when I show up at my polling location, I'll be able to vote!

1. I know the answer to this, I just want to MAKE SURE. I feel stupid for asking! |
|
I looked up my voter information at the SOS's website, too.

As long as my license says my old address, which it does, I should be OK.
Trust but verify. Is that correct?

3. Vote at your previous address |
|
Don't change your address until after you vote.

5. Are you in an in-state student or out-of-state student? |
|
If you're majoring in Journalism at Mizzou, you're probably an out-of-state student
