It's hard to get a good read on the candidates since the media coverage is so light and the campaigning is a little short on specifics.

I'm leaning towards Sly James, with Jimmy Rowland in 2nd.

Although I'm tempted to vote for Funkhouser in February with the hopes that were he to win the primary he might actually give enough of a shit to make sure the city provides a decent level of services for the month until the general election.

at heart. I think we would be better off with someone else. I kinda like Sly James myself, but since I don't live in KC, I don't really have much of a stake in it.
