Any news on a group of late hikers on Granite Peak? |
|
A co-worker's two sons left to hike up Granite Peak with a venture scout group and were due down the mountain Sunday afternoon. They have not been heard from yet and are 16 hours overdue. The parents are trying to contact the local USFS rangers for information. But I thought I'd check with the trusty DU'ers here to see if anyone had any news sources for the area.
Keep good thoughts if you're reading this!
Thanks, JB

Sorry - I didn't realize anyone replied. Guess there aren't many DU'ers in Montana, huh? ;)
The group is safe and sound. Big storms came in and they took shelter for a day and a half. Everyone made it down safely - a little stinky, but safe!
Thanks for asking!
